Bronwyn's Training Sessions 2024

LIBERTY SERIES WITH BRONWYN

WHEN:  Part One: Saturday, February 24 Part Two: Saturday, March 2 * Participants must attend both

TIME:  1-3 PM

WHEN TO ARRIVE:  Arrive 10-15 minutes early. We will promptly be starting training at 1 PM in the coverall arena.

WHERE:  Northstar Livestock, 1465 B Line, Southampton, ON, N0H 2L0 – fibre glass horse at the end of the long lane

WHERE TO PARK: Drive down long laneway past the barns, past the coverall and park at the back around the perimeter of the field (at the moment it is frozen).

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU ARRIVE:  Get your horse ready and bring them into the arena through the end garage door at far end of the arena. There are many ties on the wall in the arena if you need to tie your horse.

TO BRING:  Horse, halter, leadrope  Optional: longer leadrope (about 10 feet-ish). If you have a dressage whip and a lunge whip bring it.

PAYMENT INFO:  $125 per session

 Deposits of $125 are due to reserve a spot to Bronwyn at queenfreya23@hotmail.com    The remaining $125 is due by March 2 (e-transfer or cash in person)

OTHER:  If you have not worked with Bronwyn at Northstar Livestock there will be a liability form for signing at the beginning of the session (if anyone participating is under 18 they will need their parent’s signature to participate).  Dress warmly. You may want to start in a heated vest/gloves/comfortable-warm footwear/etc.

BREAK: At approximately the half-way point of the session there will be a 5 minute break to allow the horses to rest.

SPECTATOR INFORMATION: During the sessions there are no spectators as the whole arena will be used.

SNOWDATE:  will be booked only if roads have been closed. Otherwise sessions will run as normal.

BARREL & POLE SERIES WITH BRONWYN

WHEN:  Sunday, February 4

TIME:  Barrel Racing Training: 11-1 PM Pole Bending Training: 1:30-3:30

COST:  Barrels Only: $125, Poles Only: $125, Both Sessions: $200

WHEN TO ARRIVE:  Arrive 10-15 minutes early. We will promptly be starting training at 11 AM (barrels) and 1:30 PM (poles) in the coverall arena. Horses must be tacked up for start times.

WHERE:  Northstar Livestock, 1465 B Line, Southampton, ON, N0H 2L0 – fibre glass horse at the end of the long lane

TO BRING:  Horse, horse tack for barrels/poles, helmet, proper riding boots, anything you or your horse might need for the sessions.

PAYMENT INFO:   If participating in both sessions $200 paid to reserve spot by e-transfer. If only participating in one session $125 to reserve spot by e-transfer.

If your parent is not with you please ask for the liability form ahead of time (email).  Dress warmly. You may want to start in a heated vest/gloves/comfortable-warm footwear/etc.

BREAK: At approximately the half-way point of the session there will be a 5-minute break to allow the horses to rest.

BREAK BETWEEN SESSIONS:  If participant is in both sessions there is a 30 minute break between. Horses can rest in arena (tied or held) or at trailer (if weather permits). Riders bring a chair/snacks/drinks/etc to refresh during that time.

SPECTATOR INFORMATION: During the sessions there is limited space in the arena. Parents and/or one guardian per rider. Bring lawnchair.
