MEET OUR BERNERS...

Here are our big and sweet Berners that we share our life with! They live in our house with us and are the most loyal and loving dogs you will meet.

Bronwyn has owned bernese mountain dogs for 25+ years!

Winnie, Ulysse and Lola were imported from Europe as we prefer the big and thick style that is true to their heritage and bred across the ocean. From there we kept back our next generation to continue on the legacy.

Our dogs are registered with the Canadian Kennel Club and have their information in BernerGarde.

HAZEL

Great Canadian Hazel - one of our special home-raised Bernese Mountain Dog girls, out of Winnie and by Ulysse. When we started out raising bernese we wished for a beautiful, big girl to keep as our own. Winnie surely delivered and Hazel was the first to arrive - we knew she was our forever dog since the moment we held her in our arms. Hazel has a sweet and thoughtful personality. She is easy going and enjoys cuddles on the couch. Hazel is the star of a BIG commercial for a very well-known brand that you may know - called MilkBone!

LOLA

Lola - our beautiful and fun-energetic Italian-born female. Lola is beyond loyal and loving. She gets the 'sillies' outside and takes off running for a short sprint and it's pretty humorous to watch. If she could pick her ideal day it would be cuddling on the couch with her head on her person's lap.

ELLIE

Great Canadian Ellie - one of our home-raised Bernese Mountain Dog females. We were so impressed with Ellie's confirmation, personality and type (she was born in the same litter as Hazel) so we knew we had to keep her forever! Ellie has a fun-loving and chatty personality. She is always ready to work on tricks or cuddle. Her most favourite 'party trick' is speaking on cue. She also knows how to bow (pictured below), go to a mark, sit/stay/down on cue and army crawl. She learns tricks very easily. Ellie, along with her dad (Ulysse) and sister (Hazel) are the stars of the MilkBone commercial.

ULYSSE

Ulysse our sweet boy, that is beside Bronwyn all the time - born in Ukraine. He has great loyalty and he is very polite. Every one who meets him thinks he is a real classy gentleman. He is extremely smart and has a lot of solid tricks on his resume. Check him out with his daughters on the MilkBone Commercial.

COOPER

He is clearly not a bernese! He is a golden lab. He thinks he is a bernese though! Not too long ago he saw himself in a full length mirror and stood growling at his own reflection. Haha - so we think he thinks he is a berner. The bernese treat him as their best friend. They cuddle with him and share his bone with him (or steal it) and Cooper is so patient with the young ones.

Introducing our new boy 'Kingsley'. He is European and American. We are excited about the future for this big fella. So far this fella has already learned some tricks and he is a really smart boy too.

Memories of Winnie

Winnie - was our big, fun-loving and caring girl - Born in Poland. Her daughters are Hazel, Ellie and Frostie. Although she is no longer with us she has touched our lives forever.
